সাধারণত প্রিলিমিনারি ভাইবাতে দেখা হয় আপনার ব্যক্তিত্ব, আচরণ এবং আইএসএসবি তে যাওয়ার মত যোগ্যতা আছে কি না । একেবারে সাধারণ একটি ভাইবা হয় । এখানে মুলত আপনার সাধারণ বুদ্ধিমত্তা, সাধারণ জ্ঞান, সাবলীলভাবে কথা বলার দক্ষতা এবং পোশাক এর অভিরুচি দেখা হয় । তেমন আহামরি প্রশ্ন করা হয় না । কিন্তু সাধারণ প্রশ্ন করেই আপনার সম্পর্কে তারা সব বুঝতে পারে । তাই অবাস্তব এবং আজগুবি শেখানো উত্তর দেয়া থেকে বিরত থাকতে হবে ।
প্রশ্নের উত্তর না পারতে তেমন সমস্যা নেই । সবাই সব কিছু জানেনা । তাই কিছু না পারলে দু:খিত স্যার, আমার উত্তরটি জানা নেই বলাই শ্রেয় । তবে সাধারন প্রশ্নের উত্তর না পারা লজ্জার বিষয় ।
আপনাকে প্রিলিমিনারি ভাইভাতে এমন সব প্রশ্ন করা হবে যার অধিকাংশ উত্তর আপনি জানেন । আপনি যত ভালো ইংরেজী জানবেন, ভাগ্য ততটাই আপনার পাশে থাকবে । ভাইভা তে ভাল করার জন্য এখনি কোন কোচিং এর স্পোকেন ক্লাস এ ভর্তি হলে লাভ টা আপনারই । আমাদের প্রধান সমস্যা আমরা ইংরেজিতে বুঝিয়ে উত্তর দিতে পারিনা কারন ইংরেজীতে কথা বলতে ভয় পাই । ফলে ভাইবা খারাপ হয় । আপনি অবশ্যই নার্ভাস হবেন না । আমি প্রথমবার এই নার্ভাসনেস এর কারনে ভাইবা থেকে বাদ পরেছিলাম । পরের বার স্বাভাবিক ছিলাম তাই মাত্র ৫ টা প্রশ্ন করে আমার ভাইভা শেষ করেছে । আপনি নার্ভাস থাকলে আপনাকে নিয়ে খেলবে এবং শেষে বাদ দিয়ে দিবে । নিচের প্রশ্নের উত্তর গুলো প্রিলিমিনারি ভাইবার জন্য সহায়ক ।

I never feel bored by doing same thing again and again. I think this place suits me well. Yes it's a great opportunity for me to serve my nation.
